Private Pilot

To obtain a Private Pilot License, you must meet certain requirements. These include being at least 17 years old, passing medical exam, and completing a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, including 20 hours of flight with an instructor and 10 hours of solo flight. Additionally, you must pass a written exam and a practical test.

Commercial

To obtain a Commercial Pilot License you must meet certain. These include a minimum 250 hours of time, including 100 hours of pilot-in-command time and 50 hours of cross-country flight time. must also pass a written exam and a practical flight test. Additionally, you must hold a valid Private Pilot License and meet certain medical requirements.

Instrument

To become an instrument-rated pilot, you must hold a private pilot certificate, have a minimum of 50 hours of cross-country flight time as pilot in command, and complete a minimum of 40 hours of instrument flight training, including 15 hours with an authorized instructor. You must also pass a written exam and a practical flight test.
